Reduced Sugar Diet - Pro Athletes starting to convert

I don't want to labour the point with another blog about paleo diets or the health benefits of reduced carbohydrate diets, but I recently read that Steve Nash eats very low sugar diets. A veteran point guard in the NBA, and one of the toughest to boot.

Check out the following article for a journalists take on it:

Here's what Nash himself said on his facebook page:

I'm not trying to emulate a Paleolithic diet, in fact I've best heard this recently called Paleo 2.0, e.g. an updated, modern, improved version. It's not about replication but simply learning from the past; something we should have done anyway.

Enjoy

My Summer Playlist.....

Ladies & Gentleman, I cannot be bothered to type a blog when the weather is so nice.

Thank you to everyone who regularly is checking this (I had nearly 1300 hits last month alone!!)

As a gift to you, here is my summer playlist.....for today at least....in no particular order....

1. Counting Crows - Accidentally in Love

Here's hoping you spotted Ashley from the better known "Pussycat Dolls"....in case you didn't she's not the dude and she's not the rabbit and she's got an absolutely breathtaking hiney!!

2. Michael Tolcher - Sooner or Later

Michael, you need to post your videos on youtube, I saw you back in St. Pete in FL and you rocked and that was like 7 years back....come tour the UK!

3. Joshua Radin - Brand New Day

Josh, come back and play at the Wedgwood Rooms in Southsea again, and class little video!!

4. 3 Doors Down - Kryptonite

Yeah yeah, I know it's pretty middle of the road so far so hopefully you rocked out a bit to that one!

5. Will Smith - Miami

This was a no-brainer; I want to BE there!!

6. DMB - Crash into me

Everyone loves DMB, and if you don't you should, any guy that seductively sing "hike up your skirt a little more and show your world to me" is OK in my book!!

7. Katy Perry - Califiornia Gurls (I believe that's the correct spelling for the song!)

Yeah, sorry, I don't feel as much for the song as I do the video. I have a sweet tooth.

8. Shawn Mullins - Lullaby

You might be too young for this, but it's a classic!!

9. Van Morrison - Days Like This

10. Barenaked Ladies - Pinch Me

So my sister emailed me this afternoon with a video of One Week by BNL, in these 'Bathroom Sessions'....classic. This is my no. 10 to kinda wind down the afternoon and have a nap at the end of the day. Special mention to Tory who made this song famous in my mind when she put it on a CD for me :)

Enjoy people and feel free to post your Top 10.
